Pat Sheridan is President & CEO of Independent Natural Food Retailers Association (INFRA), a member-owned cooperative representing more than 400 independent natural food retailers operating in over 650 communities across the United States and Puerto Rico. Through a model built on collaboration, scale, and shared purpose, INFRA strengthens the competitive position of independent retailers while advancing a more sustainable and values-driven food system.

Since becoming CEO, Pat has led INFRA through a period of significant growth and strategic evolution - expanding its national supply partnerships, modernizing its promotional and pricing strategies, and launching enterprise-level initiatives that position independent retailers to compete and win in a rapidly changing market. Under his leadership, INFRA is advancing toward a bold vision of serving 1,000 communities while delivering measurable improvements in member economics, engagement, and long-term viability.

Pat has spearheaded the development of The Good CollectiveTM, INFRA’s exclusive brand platform designed to drive margin expansion, customer loyalty, and differentiated value for independent retailers. He has also led the transformation of INFRA’s data, technology, and marketing capabilities, helping members translate collective scale into actionable insights and stronger shopper connections.

With a background spanning finance, product development, and operations, Pat brings a systems-level perspective to leadership - balancing financial discipline with innovation and purpose-driven growth. He is a strong advocate for independent ownership, believing that locally rooted retailers play a critical role in community health, economic resilience, and the future of natural and organic food.
